Rob Weddle is on the Full Spectrum Franchise Consulting Board of Managers

Rob Weddle is a seasoned executive with over two decades of experience in the franchising industry. He began his career in franchising in 2002 as a franchisee of The Cleaning Authority. In 2005, Mr. Weddle joined the franchisor and eventually became the CEO in 2014.

In 2017, Mr. Weddle led the formation of Authority Brands and oversaw the company’s evolution as the leading multi-brand services franchisor. He and his team executed eleven brand acquisitions, including Homewatch CareGivers, America’s Swimming Pool Company, Mosquito Squad, One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning, Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, Mister Sparky Electric, Monster Tree Service, STOP Restoration, DoodyCalls, Color World Housepainting, and Woofie’s.

During his tenure at Authority Brands, Mr. Weddle implemented a whole business securitization and achieved significant growth in unit counts, system sales, and earnings. By 2022, Authority Brands had expanded to more than 1,000 franchise owners operating over 2,000 locations, with systemwide revenue reported at more than $1 billion by 2024. He successfully led the company through two exits alongside PNC Riverarch Capital and Apax Partners. Weddle stepped down as CEO in late 2022 following the company’s transition to British Columbia Investment Management Corporation (BCI) and another Apax fund.

Since February 2023, Mr. Weddle served as Managing Director at Boxwood Partners, a mid-market investment bank specializing in mergers and acquisitions, particularly within the franchising sector. He joined Boxwood Partners to assist them with their continued ascendance as the franchise industry’s leading M&A advisory. He works with clients to position their companies for successful ownership transition and investment with private equity and strategic sponsors. He also continues to invest and work alongside PE sponsors, franchisors, and franchisees across multiple industries. In addition to his role at Boxwood Partners, Weddle remains an active franchise investor and continues to be a multi-unit franchisee of The Cleaning Authority, demonstrating his ongoing commitment to the franchising community.

In 2025, Mr. Weddle was named CEO of Full Spectrum Franchise Consulting, a premier portfolio of brands that encompasses leading franchise solutions providers iFranchise GroupTopFire Media, and FranDevCo.

Mr. Weddle has a Bachelor of Arts from Dickinson College and an MBA from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management.
